Lladro Tea in The Garden Women Sculpture. Limited Edition

Lladró figurines often reference a timeless romanticism, an undefined but still extremely familiar world in space and time. Here, we find all that is good, noble and beautiful in life. Such is the case with ´The Tea´, which presents us with a peaceful, evocative scene. The key to the realism and beauty of this work is its mise-en-scene, in which the delicate figures of the protagonists and precise decoration of their surroundings take on significance. This High Porcelain limited edition captures the refinement of an entire era, in a bucolic scene reflecting the leisurely cadence of a unique moment. Special mention should be given to the roughly 300 flowers, some of which form a complex bower and which posed a technical challenge to Lladró experts, particularly in firing. The fans and dresses of the three ladies are enhanced with embroidery and hand-painted prints and lace. More than 70 colours have been used for decoration of a piece full of the minute details which turn the entire piece into a masterpiece.

Lladro Gita Saar Sculpture. Limited Edition
Made in matte and glazed porcelain, it is decorated with lots of details in golden luster and metallic treatments in the clothing, the chariot and the horses. The elaborate ornamentation includes floral decoration, particularly the garland worn by Krishna, made up of 172 flowers, handmade petal by petal. This ambitious creation is on a par with the great works from the Lladró High Porcelain workshop. Handcrafted in Spain.

A symbol of power and prosperity in Eastern culture, this magical creature, the bearer of good luck, is the protagonist in this spectacular High Porcelain limited edition. The hundreds of scales covering its skin are individually hand painted with gold lustre, an extremely laborious technique requiring the expertise of the finest artists. The luminosity distinguishing its spectacular embellishment is attained by combining gloss and satin finishes, united by an iridescent metallic hue on the chest and a vivid turquoise hue on the crest. The complexity of the dragon´s shape and the tremendous number of tiny details make the process of its creation extremely difficult, from the modelling of the original sculpture through to its final firing in the kiln.
Lladro Guardian Lion Sculpture. Blue. Limited Edition
For thousands of years, these majestic creatures have represented the best omens in Eastern culture. Artists at the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have recreated this ancient tradition in these limited edition pieces, richly decorated with lustres and various textures and finishes. These lions, inspired by traditional statues of bronze, iron or granite which flank the doors of palaces, temples and noble houses in various Eastern countries, are presented in pairs and protect the buildings from evil spirits. Seen from the front, the male is located on the right and takes care of the structure, represented by the ball he holds with his leg, while the female is located on the left and cares for the inhabitants. This lion is paired with the guardian lioness (blue) and there are two other decorative versions. Blue tones are predominant, in addition to border in gold lustre with alternating gloss and matte finishes. Artists of the High Porcelain workshop recreate and embellish every detail of the piece, such as the elaborate ornamentation of the skirts and chest plates, the introduction of the necklace as a decorative element and the lavish modelling of the manes and tails. Shrinathji is a manifestation of Krishna, one of India’s most venerated deities, incarnated in a seven-year-old boy. Shrinathji is a grace-filled divinity, the balanced abode of contradictions. He is a child, yet he supports the world. He is both pond and lotus, he is all things at once. Exquisitely faithful to traditional iconography, this majestic depiction in porcelain stands out for its sumptuous decoration and also for the dazzling ornamental wealth of a god who represents pure bliss. A wide range of finishes were using in making this impressive sculpture, including the combination of matte and glazed porcelain with enamels, and different coatings of golden luster and metallic tones. The intense saffron color of the clothing symbolizes happiness and success. Lladro High Porcelain, Kwan Yin Sculpture. Limited Edition
This High Porcelain limited edition brings a revered goddess to life, recreating a novel colour scheme of healing light, which releases ¨she who hears the lament of the world¨. According to a common Chinese belief, Kwan Yin lives on the island of Pu-tuo-shan, where her temple is surrounded by a lake of violet light which cures the ailments of all who bathe in its waters. It is said she will not rest until all human beings are freed from their suffering. The image of the goddess is decorated with innovative colours such as hues of purple and mauve and the metallic gold and aged silver of the forest flowers, never before used in a Lladró piece. For the remainder of the piece, hues in a harmonious green and yellow colour scheme have been employed.
