Rey is the latest addition to the Born to Rebel collection inspired by icons from the Star Wars movie saga. Rey is the main character of the third trilogy and is based on a scene from Episode IX- The Rise of Skywalker, in which Rey is holding a new lightsaber in her right hand with yellow light representing the future while, in her left hand, she holds Luke Skywalker’s broken lightsaber, representing the past.

Lladro Minnie in black and white Sculpture
This creation offers a contemporary vision of Minnie, Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart. The point of departure for the creative approach is animated cartoon techniques based on black ink drawing on a white ground. So, black is the only color used in the decoration of Minnie, together with a few touches of golden luster applied in the ribbon in her hair, her shoes and the tip of her nose. Seen from the front, the male is located on the right and takes care of the structure, represented by the ball he holds with his leg, while the female is located on the left and cares for the inhabitants. This lion is paired with the guardian lioness (blue) and there are two other decorative versions. Blue tones are predominant, in addition to border in gold lustre with alternating gloss and matte finishes. Artists of the High Porcelain workshop recreate and embellish every detail of the piece, such as the elaborate ornamentation of the skirts and chest plates, the introduction of the necklace as a decorative element and the lavish modelling of the manes and tails.
