Lladro Star Wars Heroines Full Set

This set is made up of four of the heroines of the famous film saga, Star Wars. All creations are made in porcelain following an entirely handmade process. Essential works for Star Wars lovers. Queen Amidala in the throne room™ is a matte porcelain creation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first appearance of Padmé Amidala in The Phantom Menace (1999). A limited edition of just 1000 units. Ahsoka Tano™ made a reappearance in the second season of the successful series The Mandalorian. Ahsoka Tano ™ is a Jedi Padawan, a fighter with a strong personality whose is always searching for answers and determined to find them. Rey ™ is the protagonist of the third Star Wars trilogy. This creation is based on a scene from Episode IX- The Rise of Skywalker, in which Rey is holding a new lightsaber in her right hand with yellow light representing the future while, in her left hand, she holds Luke Skywalker’s broken lightsaber, representing the past. Princess Leia ™ is inspired by Episode IV – A New Hope. This creation depicts Leia holding the disc with the blueprints for the first Death Star.

It is a piece destined to become a veritable family heirloom. This empress represents one of the leading figures of Hina Ningyo, a composition of figures placed upon a stage, where girls are given away in Japan every 3 March at the feast of Hina Matsuri to assure them a happy life. This limited edition, which pays careful attention to the smallest details of the garments worn by emperors of the Japanese court during the Heian period, forms a pair with Hina Dolls - Emperor. On a decorative level, the reproduction of the richness of embroidered fabrics is highlighted, as is the image of traditional Japanese fabric simulating Damascus silk, which transforms the piece into a little jewel. In terms of its the richness of the colour palette, this creation surpasses the classic Lladró palette and introduces more intense colours. The dark colour of the dress and the decorative details in three tones are emphasised, applied by hand through a painstaking process which enables them to stand out against such an intense background.

Together they debuted in 1928 in what today we know to be the Disney's first undisputed success. The flirtatious Minnie Mouse is the star in this piece that takes its place in the Disney collection by Lladró. Made in gloss porcelain, decorated in vibrant colours and with her characteristic white gloves. A piece handmade in Valencia, Spain.

The coquettish Minnie Mouse is the main character in this piece which now joins Lladró’s Disney collection. Made in matte and glazed porcelain and decorated in pink tones with iridescent touches.
Lladro High Porcelain, Kwan Yin Sculpture. Limited Edition
This High Porcelain limited edition brings a revered goddess to life, recreating a novel colour scheme of healing light, which releases ¨she who hears the lament of the world¨. According to a common Chinese belief, Kwan Yin lives on the island of Pu-tuo-shan, where her temple is surrounded by a lake of violet light which cures the ailments of all who bathe in its waters. It is said she will not rest until all human beings are freed from their suffering. The image of the goddess is decorated with innovative colours such as hues of purple and mauve and the metallic gold and aged silver of the forest flowers, never before used in a Lladró piece. For the remainder of the piece, hues in a harmonious green and yellow colour scheme have been employed.
Lladro Gita Saar Sculpture. Limited Edition
Made in matte and glazed porcelain, it is decorated with lots of details in golden luster and metallic treatments in the clothing, the chariot and the horses. The elaborate ornamentation includes floral decoration, particularly the garland worn by Krishna, made up of 172 flowers, handmade petal by petal. This ambitious creation is on a par with the great works from the Lladró High Porcelain workshop. Handcrafted in Spain.
Lladro Minnie in black and white Sculpture
This creation offers a contemporary vision of Minnie, Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart. The point of departure for the creative approach is animated cartoon techniques based on black ink drawing on a white ground. So, black is the only color used in the decoration of Minnie, together with a few touches of golden luster applied in the ribbon in her hair, her shoes and the tip of her nose. The end result is an unmistakable and charming Minnie who has swapped her usual red dress for a white dress with black polka dots rendered with utmost care and precision. The base is faceted black porcelain.

For thousands of years, these majestic creatures have represented the best omens in Eastern culture. Artists at the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have recreated this ancient tradition in these limited edition pieces, richly decorated with lustres and various textures and finishes. These lions, inspired by traditional statues of bronze, iron or granite which flank the doors of palaces, temples and noble houses in various Eastern countries, are presented in pairs and protect the buildings from evil spirits. Seen from the front, the male is located on the right and takes care of the structure, represented by the ball he holds with his leg, while the female is located on the left and cares for the inhabitants. This lioness is paired with the guardian lion (black) and there are two other decorative versions. Black, blue and silver tones are predominant in its ornamentation, giving the piece a very modern air. Artists of the High Porcelain workshop recreate and embellish every detail of the piece, such as the elaborate ornamentation of the skirts and chest plates, the introduction of the necklace as a decorative element and the lavish modelling of the manes and tails. Authentic filigree work makes these impressive sculptures a work halfway between the thousand-year-old tradition and the maker´s creation.
