One of the most unique Disney heroines is Mulan, the young Chinese woman masquerading as a man to join the army in her elderly father´s place. Accompanied by the fun dragon Mushu and lucky cricket Cri-Kee, they have countless adventures and manage to defeat the army of Huns threatening their homeland. Finished in gloss porcelain with the colours representative of the characters, Mulan appears standing, with a pretty flower in her hair. Issued on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the film, celebrated by Disney in 2018, the piece has a commemorative decal on its base.

Hina Dolls - Emperor is an exquisite piece of High Porcelain with delicate and meticulous embellishment, inspired by an ancient Japanese tradition. It is a piece destined to become a veritable family heirloom. On a decorative level, the reproduction of the richness of embroidered fabrics is highlighted, as is the image of traditional Japanese fabric simulating Damascus silk, which transforms the piece into a little jewel. In terms of the richness of the colour palette, this creation surpasses the classic Lladró palette and introduces more intense colours. The dark colour of the dress and the decorative details in three tones are emphasised, applied by hand through a painstaking process which enables them to stand out against such an intense background.
Lladro Gita Saar Sculpture. Limited Edition
Made in matte and glazed porcelain, it is decorated with lots of details in golden luster and metallic treatments in the clothing, the chariot and the horses. The elaborate ornamentation includes floral decoration, particularly the garland worn by Krishna, made up of 172 flowers, handmade petal by petal. Lladro Guardian Lioness Sculpture. Blue. Limited Edition
For thousands of years, these majestic creatures have represented the best omens in Eastern culture. Artists at the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have recreated this ancient tradition in these limited edition pieces, richly decorated with lustres and various textures and finishes. These lions, inspired by traditional statues of bronze, iron or granite which flank the doors of palaces, temples and noble houses in various Eastern countries, are presented in pairs and protect the buildings from evil spirits. Seen from the front, the male is located on the right and takes care of the structure, represented by the ball he holds with his leg, while the female is located on the left and cares for the inhabitants. This lioness is paired with the guardian lion (blue) and there are two other decorative versions. Blue tones are predominant, in addition to a border in gold lustre with alternating gloss and matte finishes. Artists of the High Porcelain workshop recreate and embellish every detail of the piece, such as the elaborate ornamentation of the skirts and chest plates, the introduction of the necklace as a decorative element and the lavish modelling of the manes and tails. Authentic filigree work makes these impressive sculptures a work halfway between the thousand-year-old tradition and the maker´s creation.
Lladro Minnie in black and white Sculpture
This creation offers a contemporary vision of Minnie, Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart. The point of departure for the creative approach is animated cartoon techniques based on black ink drawing on a white ground. So, black is the only color used in the decoration of Minnie, together with a few touches of golden luster applied in the ribbon in her hair, her shoes and the tip of her nose. The end result is an unmistakable and charming Minnie who has swapped her usual red dress for a white dress with black polka dots rendered with utmost care and precision. The base is faceted black porcelain.
Lladro Goddess Durga Sculpture. Limited Edition
"Portraying Durga, the goddess who alleviates the suffering of all people on Earth, who protects the righteous and establishes benevolence and order, was both a challenge and an honor for Lladró artists. Made in a combination of glazed and matte porcelain, Durga is depicted sitting on the back of a spectacular tiger with striking blue eyes, symbolizing the goddess’s will and determination. The eight arms with which she is portrayed, each one holding a symbol of the different powers given to her by the gods, seem to have a movement of their own, while the goddess’s body and face convey a sense of peace and compassion. The composition is decorated with the signature deep red color of Hindu iconography and a spectrum of colors that includes faded browns, turquoises and mauves. These tonalities are enhanced by the use of carefully applied golden luster and a garland of flowers made up of 280 white and 7 pink petals, in addition to the delicate lotus flower she is holding in one of her hands. All these flowers are handmade, petal by petal."

The hundreds of scales covering the dragon’s skin are minutely hand-painted one by one. The undulating shape of this complex sculpture is reminiscent of the figure eight, the number of good luck in oriental culture.
