One of the most unique Disney heroines is Mulan, the young Chinese woman masquerading as a man to join the army in her elderly father´s place. Accompanied by the fun dragon Mushu and lucky cricket Cri-Kee, they have countless adventures and manage to defeat the army of Huns threatening their homeland. Finished in gloss porcelain with the colours representative of the characters, Mulan appears standing, with a pretty flower in her hair. Issued on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the film, celebrated by Disney in 2018, the piece has a commemorative decal on its base.

For thousands of years, these majestic creatures have represented the best omens in Eastern culture. Artists at the Lladró High Porcelain workshop have recreated this ancient tradition in these limited edition pieces, richly decorated with lustres and various textures and finishes. Lladro High Porcelain, Kwan Yin Sculpture. Limited Edition
This High Porcelain limited edition brings a revered goddess to life, recreating a novel colour scheme of healing light, which releases ¨she who hears the lament of the world¨. According to a common Chinese belief, Kwan Yin lives on the island of Pu-tuo-shan, where her temple is surrounded by a lake of violet light which cures the ailments of all who bathe in its waters. It is said she will not rest until all human beings are freed from their suffering. The image of the goddess is decorated with innovative colours such as hues of purple and mauve and the metallic gold and aged silver of the forest flowers, never before used in a Lladró piece. For the remainder of the piece, hues in a harmonious green and yellow colour scheme have been employed.

A symbol of power and prosperity in Eastern culture, this magical creature, the bearer of good luck, is the protagonist in this spectacular High Porcelain limited edition. The hundreds of scales covering its skin are individually hand painted with gold lustre, an extremely laborious technique requiring the expertise of the finest artists. The luminosity distinguishing its spectacular embellishment is attained by combining gloss and satin finishes, united by an iridescent metallic hue on the chest and a vivid turquoise hue on the crest. The complexity of the dragon´s shape and the tremendous number of tiny details make the process of its creation extremely difficult, from the modelling of the original sculpture through to its final firing in the kiln.

Made in matte and glazed porcelain, it is decorated with lots of details in golden luster and metallic treatments in the clothing, the chariot and the horses. The elaborate ornamentation includes floral decoration, particularly the garland worn by Krishna, made up of 172 flowers, handmade petal by petal. Shrinathji is a manifestation of Krishna, one of India’s most venerated deities, incarnated in a seven-year-old boy. Shrinathji is a grace-filled divinity, the balanced abode of contradictions. He is a child, yet he supports the world. He is both pond and lotus, he is all things at once. Exquisitely faithful to traditional iconography, this majestic depiction in porcelain stands out for its sumptuous decoration and also for the dazzling ornamental wealth of a god who represents pure bliss.
