Grumpy is a porcelain sculpture that reproduces one of Snow White’s companions. It’s a fictional character based on the Grimm brothers’ tale, where a princess meets a group of seven dwarfs when she runs away from her evil stepmother, who has ordered her to be killed to be more beautiful in the kingdom. Finished in glossy porcelain and decorated with the character’s characteristic colors. The piece has three flowers at its base, two roses and one white, and a commemorative Disney 80th anniversary decal. Its ornamental richness is at the level of the powerful Balaji, which fulfills the wishes of its faithful if they are asked with a true heart and a strong determination. A combination of matt and glossy porcelain with enamels and different finishes of luster, gold, platinum and metallic tones has been used to finish this majestic creation. But what really stands out is the dazzling floral decoration, made up of a total of 1,866 flowers that form the side columns and the different garlands that the god wears. Lladró artists portray a coiled dragon, whose fierce stare conveys all the power and strength of this mythological creature. On a technical level, the production process for this sculpture is highly complex, with all the whiskers, claws, crests, scales and other fragments painted with enamels and metallic lustres in every area. With this blue edition of the Great Dragon, the most contemporary and Westernised vision of the dragon has been depicted, increasing its decorative potential. It is one of the largest pieces in the current range.

A piece that boasts many complex decorative techniques, like golden luster, and a large amount of handmade flowers made petal by petal. Shivas attributes are finely defined with a host of details enhancing his majestic character: the trident, the drum, the snake, the bands of Rudraksha and the bun in his hair. The base provides room for the optional piece Lingam (01001981), a symbol used to worship Shiva and to overcome any situation that impedes personal growth.
Lladro Goddess Durga Sculpture. Limited Edition
"Portraying Durga, the goddess who alleviates the suffering of all people on Earth, who protects the righteous and establishes benevolence and order, was both a challenge and an honor for Lladró artists. Made in a combination of glazed and matte porcelain, Durga is depicted sitting on the back of a spectacular tiger with striking blue eyes, symbolizing the goddess’s will and determination. The eight arms with which she is portrayed, each one holding a symbol of the different powers given to her by the gods, seem to have a movement of their own, while the goddess’s body and face convey a sense of peace and compassion. The composition is decorated with the signature deep red color of Hindu iconography and a spectrum of colors that includes faded browns, turquoises and mauves. These tonalities are enhanced by the use of carefully applied golden luster and a garland of flowers made up of 280 white and 7 pink petals, in addition to the delicate lotus flower she is holding in one of her hands. All these flowers are handmade, petal by petal."
Lladro High Porcelain, Kwan Yin Sculpture. Limited Edition
This High Porcelain limited edition brings a revered goddess to life, recreating a novel colour scheme of healing light, which releases ¨she who hears the lament of the world¨. According to a common Chinese belief, Kwan Yin lives on the island of Pu-tuo-shan, where her temple is surrounded by a lake of violet light which cures the ailments of all who bathe in its waters. It is said she will not rest until all human beings are freed from their suffering. The image of the goddess is decorated with innovative colours such as hues of purple and mauve and the metallic gold and aged silver of the forest flowers, never before used in a Lladró piece. For the remainder of the piece, hues in a harmonious green and yellow colour scheme have been employed.

A symbol of power and prosperity in Eastern culture, this magical creature, the bearer of good luck, is the protagonist in this spectacular High Porcelain limited edition. The hundreds of scales covering its skin are individually hand painted with gold lustre, an extremely laborious technique requiring the expertise of the finest artists. The luminosity distinguishing its spectacular embellishment is attained by combining gloss and satin finishes, united by an iridescent metallic hue on the chest and a vivid turquoise hue on the crest. The complexity of the dragon´s shape and the tremendous number of tiny details make the process of its creation extremely difficult, from the modelling of the original sculpture through to its final firing in the kiln.
Lladro Gita Saar Sculpture. Limited Edition
Made in matte and glazed porcelain, it is decorated with lots of details in golden luster and metallic treatments in the clothing, the chariot and the horses. The elaborate ornamentation includes floral decoration, particularly the garland worn by Krishna, made up of 172 flowers, handmade petal by petal. This ambitious creation is on a par with the great works from the Lladró High Porcelain workshop. Handcrafted in Spain.
