As women do everywhere, three good friends meet to exchange daily news and gossip when they suddenly see a certain female walking down the other side of the street. Thomas Blackshear says, "We can only guess what that Ms.Thang has been up to!" Whatever it is, the girlfriends are scrutinizing her with disbelief and disapproval, and then, after much whispering, someone gasps, "Oh no, she didn't!"

This is a limited edition and no longer produced by Lenox.

NOTES: The Holy Family is the first in a five part series of The Nativity......
All pieces in the Nativity series will be available for purchase through 2012, however the Holy Family figurine will only have the Special Stamp and Certificate during the 2008 production year. All Holy Family figures purchased after the 2008 production year will state Members Edition as in previous years.The following 4 years will include the Angel Figurine with Stable setting in 2009 and The Wise Men in 2010 and 2011. Completeing the series in 2012 will be The Shepherds.

Thomas Richman Blackshear II was born on November 14, 1955 in Waco Texas but he grew up in Atlanta Georgia. He attended and graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 1977. His first Ebony Visions figurine is The Story Teller; which is truly a master piece. His works and details captures the black culture like no other.
Thomas Blackshear has received numerous awards and is truly one of the most acclaimed African American Artists.

What is a Gallery Proof Sculpture: Gallery Proof editions are a small edition of a particular design that has hand painted color variations and are available ONLY from Authorized Gallery Dealers like The Collection Shop. Because of their unique color design they are not a part of the original numbered edition. All Ebony Visions Gallery Proof editions are Hand Signed and Numbered personally by Thomas Blackshear.
