This annual edition of 2018, ''Giraffe Mudiwa'' is the eight annual edition Swarovski produced, that does not belong to a trilogy. Mudiwa  means ’beloved one'’ in the Africa language of Shona. It has a special fading effect for the graceful fur pattern of the animal. Mudiwa is made of Ceylon Topaz, mocca Cal, Black Diamond and Copper crystal. Mudiwa is standing on a clear crystal base wich is engraved with the initials of the designer Martin Zendron, the year of issue '’2018'’, and the name '’Mudiwa'’. The SCS collection of 2018 can be expanded with a Giraffe baby and a Gazelle.

The designer's initials Heinz Tabertshofer and the year of release are engraved on the base. The SCS collection from 2021 can be expanded with the Zebra baby Zuri.
